this collection visited me in a dream, and represents my joyful take on temple jewelry, a traditionally ornate jewelry form inspired by the shapes & designs found in south indian temples. 

suryan chandran, sun and moon, are typically worn as head pieces, along with the nethi chutti. the traditionally jewel-encrusted sun and moon symbolize the balance and harmony between opposing forces, as well as the cycle of creation and destruction, considered a sacred cycle in Hindu tradition, and in many other ancient traditions.
